Bangladeshi ICT minister lied and flip-flopped on the issue of internet blockade. On 18th July, his statement to media outlets was that the government shut down internet connections to manage the unrest/student protest. On 27th July, he stated the internet connections automatically shut down after protesters burned down one of the data centers.
